Whether you are new to yoga and Pilates, or looking to try something new or more challenging, we have made it easier to find the classes that best suit your needs. Our classes are categorized into different levels (Level I, Level I-II and Level II) that describe how much experience is needed for each class, the pace of the class. and what you can expect in classes at each level.
Level I classes focus on the basics of a yoga or Pilates practice and are perfect for new students, those needing a refresher and those recovering from injuries. Instructors provide guidance on foundational poses and postures, proper alignment, accompanying breathwork, and modifications for those with limited range of motion or injuries. Classes marked Level I are slower than higher level classes and require no yoga or Pilates experience.
In classes marked Level I-II, students are introduced to more advanced poses and postures, and build on their strength and flexibility. These classes are more aerobic than Level I classes, and the instructor assumes that the students attending have knowledge of the basic poses, postures, sequences and breathwork of a regular Pilates or yoga practice.
Level II classes are for students who practice yoga or Pilates regularly, require less instruction from instructors, and are looking for a challenge. Advanced knowledge of poses, postures, sequences and breathwork is recommended. These classes can be faster paced and sweaty.
Classes marked Open/All Levels are for all students, and don't require a specific level of experience, unless indicated. These classes are often offered as workshops and focus on a particular aspect of the yoga or Pilates practice.
